NEW DELHI. Market players report a significant decline in the sesame seed crop in India, which is why exporters are gradually having to part with their stocks. India was able to win a large part of the current tender.

Tender results in favour of Indian exporters

On Tuesday (30.11.), the result of the current sesame seed tender from South Korea was announced. The country had announced to buy a total of 6,600 mt and Indian exporters were hoping for a good chance of winning the contract. In fact, they were able to secure around 4,800 mt of the required quantity, with prices varying between USD 1,719/mt and USD 1,738/mt.
