Sultanas: China will start shipping new crop soon

DALIAN. The grapes are developing well in the Chinese province of Xinjiang and the first sultanas will arrive in only a few weeks.

Starting price from 1,700 USD/mt
Exporters in China are offering the remaining stocks from last year's crop for 1,740 USD/mt CFR Hamburg. Many suppliers no longer differentiate between different sizes. since jumbo sultanas and smaller sultanas cost the same.

The grapes used to produce sultanas are developing well (see picture). Harvesting is to start soon in the Xinjiang province. The first shipments should be able to take place in mid to late August. All sizes of Grade AA sultanas are currently trading for 1,700 USD/mt CFR Hamburg. These prices range below the
