Sultanas: These countries are the top buyers of sultanas

MANISA. There are virtually no more offers from Turkey for sultanas from the 2018 crop. Meanwhile, offers for deliveries from the new 2019 crop have been adjusted.

Prices for old crop are passé
The export of fresh fruits and vegetables is currently is what Turkish traders are currently focusing on. What is left of the dried fruit stocks is already bound in contracts and only awaits delivery.

Exporters have reduced their offers for Sultanas, Type 9, crop 2019 and export prices are currently 1,800-1,850 USD/mt FOB Izmir. Market participants assume that prices could fall somewhat before the start of the season. A renewed loss of value of the Turkish currency would in any case lead to this, according to the trade
