MANISA. Market players are confident that the new crop will be available for export at the end of August. The season will thereby start two weeks earlier than last year.

 

Growers intend to hurry

Turkey has exported 239,128 mt this season so far – 3,8% more than last year. The new season will start in more than eight weeks. If weekly exports continue on a level of ca. 5,000 mt it is possible that as much as 280,000 mt will be shipped this season.
