MANISA. Favourable weather conditions significantly improve the prospects for Turkish sultana production in 2025 compared to last year. Meanwhile, trade is stagnating due to high prices.

Winter weather welcome

The cool winter temperatures remain in the Turkish province of Manisa. During the day, temperatures are around 9-12°C and at night it cools down to 2-7°C, with occasional rain showers providing the region with moisture. Temperatures are expected to drop further at the weekend, which could bring localised snow and frost, at least at night.
