MANISA. The prices have so far remained stable this week. Local hail storms may, however, change the situation soon.

 

Weather poses a risk

The grapes in Turkey are developing surprisingly well under the changing weather conditions. Throughout the day temperatures climb as high as 30°C, nighttime temperatures range 10-15°C lower and there are occasional rains and hailstorms. Now, however, the Aegean Exporters’ Association reports of crop damages caused by hail in some regions. The exact damage still needs to be assessed.
