MANISA. Temperatures were slightly cooler in Manisa last week and a hail storm damaged some vineyards at the weekend. Prices have taken a chaotic turn.

Good weather anticipated

Fortunately, the damages caused by the local hail storm were not huge. Weather forecasts again predict cooler and cloudly weather in the next few days with temperatures ranging at 11-18C (52-64F) at nigh and 21-31C (70-89F) at day, lower temperatures of 14-28C (57-82F) and rain have been forecast for the weekend. Cool temperatures are good at present as long as these condtions do not last until the end of the month as the crop will eventually require warmer weather and sunshine.
