MANISA. At the weekend, there were renewed rains in the growing regions of the Turkish province of Manisa. The extent of the damage is still unclear and the market is showing restraint.

More rainfall in Manisa

Last Sunday, there was again rainfall in the Turkish growing region of Manisa. The grapes laid out to dry were damaged, but the exact extent is not yet known. The weather service had already announced the rainfall three days in advance and advised farmers to take the necessary precautions. It is now expected to remain dry for the time being, daytime temperatures are estimated at 30-35°C and it is not expected to be cooler than 20°C at night either.
