MANISA. The exporters in Turkey are having diffculties selling spot contracts as their prices are simply too high. They very much hope that they will be able to offer cheaper rates very soon.

Spot contracts are unattractive

Although overseas shipments are slowly picking up, they still lag behind last year's volume at 61,430 metric tonnes. Problem is that the current prices are deterring buyers. Demand is epxetced to star, in addition, expected to start declining in mid-November once the Christmas sales have been concluded.
