Sultanas: TMO releases raw materials for sale

MANISA/REUS. Persistent rainfall has once again led to flooding along the banks of the Gediz river in Manisa. The TMO is releasing raw materials from the 2025 crop for sale. According to the INC, global production of dried vine fruits has fallen by 14%.

Flooding in Manisa

It has been raining heavily in the Turkish province of Manisa since last week. The rainfall is expected to continue until the end of this week. Flooding is occurring along the Gediz, leaving several thousand acres of agricultural land under water. In the higher elevations of the province, however, temperatures have dropped so much that snow has fallen.
