MANISA. Export volumes are holding up well at the end of the year, unlike sales. The new year is likely to bring further price adjustments for the Turkish sultana market.

Rising prices expected

In the last few weeks of the year, sultana exports from Turkey are once again picking up speed, while trade is stalling. The Christmas holidays could to bring the already sluggish sales to a complete standstill, while suppliers are likely to continue to process exports from contract call-offs.
