MANISA. The vineyards in Turkey’s growing regions are in very good condition. Nevertheless, market players remain focused on developments in the coming months. Demand remains weak.

Temperature rise expected

The Turkish dried fruit market is back in action following a rainy holiday week. Temperatures are set to rise again in the coming days, with daytime highs of 32–34°C. No further rainfall is expected for the time being.

According to reports, the recent hailstorms and flooding have caused only minor damage and the vineyards are, on the whole, in very good condition. Market players are nevertheless keeping a close eye on weather developments in the coming months until the end of the drying period, as only then will it be poss
