Sultanas: lower yield prospects despite good weather

MANISA. In the Sarıgöl region in the Turkish province of Manisa, the first grapes for the current production have now been harvested. The warm weather should allow sultana production to start around a week earlier than usual.

Rainfall remains harmless

The rain showers of the past week have had no negative consequences for the growing region in Manisa. In the coming days, temperatures should continue to reach the 36-40°C typical of the season, with further localised showers in the middle and end of the week.
