Sunflower seed kernels: Price plunge in 2017?

SOFIA. A look at the current price chart already hints at what is to be expected in the coming weeks on the sunflower seed market.

The market is traditionally in a stable phase around the turn of the year. Processors still have work to do, but their capacities are far from being exhausted yet. Moldovan suppliers still have a large stock of roasted sunflower seeds, large kernel, striped, which they are trying to sell as quickly as possible. However, only very few buyers are inclined to stock larger volumes of sunflower seeds this close to year end anymore.
