SOFIA. Just in time for Christmas, the cold, dry weather in Bulgaria could turn to snowfall in the coming week, especially in the south of the country.

A lot to do
Sunflower seed kernels in shell continue to be popular on the Bulgarian domestic market, which is why prices have increased to 360,45 EUR/mt CPT from the port of Varna. Foreign buyers have not yet warmed to the increased prices, and that curtails trading activity.
Sunflower seed kernels, bakery, have also gained since last week and are at 740-750 EUR/mt DDP Germany. That is not uncommon at the end of the year, since there is only a limited supply and limited capacities available.
