MADRID/SACRAMENTO. The harvest in Spain is drawing to a close. Over the next few weeks the actual crop sizes in Spain and California will become clear.

 

Producers are disappointed

When the almond prices reached their peak a few years ago, growing the nuts was regarded as a true goldmine. In Andalusia, the government still believes that promoting almond cultivation is a worthwhile investment. The development in recent years has certainly been positive for consumers.
