Dried apricots: buying interest remains high

MALATYA. Although there is hardly any produce available this year due to frost-related crop failures, buyers are not deterred by the high prices and prefer Turkish dried apricots to those from other countries. The market is becoming more active again.

In Malatya, Turkey's most important apricot-growing region, temperatures are expected to cool significantly this week, with daytime temperatures of up to 22°C and night-time temperatures of 5-7°C.
