MALATYA. There is currently little movement on the dried apricot market. Apricot kernels from Malatya, however, received a new EU certification.

Stable prices

Turkish market players report that the dried apricot market remains quiet. Exports are ongoing and demand remains steady, ensuring that both raw material and export prices remain stable and do not differ from last week. The lira has been trending stronger lately thanks to the increase in the key interest rate, but lost in value compared to last week. The exchange rate is currently at TRY 9.42 to EUR 1.00.
