Dried apricots: rainy week in Malatya

MALATYA. Extensive rainfall is expected in the Turkish apricot-growing regions of Malatya, but so far there is no cause for concern. The export figures are still impressive.

High exports despite Ramadan

Exports on the Turkish apricot market continue to be excellent and even the Ramadan period has not affected this. Last week, Turkish exporters shipped 1,589 mt of dried apricots and apricot products overseas, compared to 1,279 mt in the same week last year. This brings total exports since the start of the season to 42,221 mt, compared to 51,288 mt in the same period last year.
