Dried apricots: TMO prices are too low

MALATYA. Apricot farmers in Turkey say that the base prices announced by the TMO are far too low in view of rising production costs. The financial situation remains tense, which is why exporters are not buying larger quantities.

Prices cannot fulfil expectations

Farmers in Malatya are not at all happy with the base price announced by the TMO for their dried apricot purchases this year.
