Dried apricots: Turkish exports decline

MALATYA. Rising farmgate prices for dried apricots stabilise export prices. Germany increased its imports last season, while Turkey's exports have declined in the current season.

Turkish Lira remains weak

Market players indicate that farmgate prices continue to rise slightly, which means that export prices, which fell the previous week, will remain stable for the time being despite the weak Turkish lira. For the popular sizes No. 3 and No. 4, commodity prices are currently between TRY 20.00 and 25.00/kg compared to TRY 13-15/kg last season. Dried apricots, No. 4 are trading at USD 3,500/mt FOB Mersin, just like last week.
