MADISON/PALMA. Global production of dried cranberries is expected to increase by 1.3% in the coming season. A better result is expected in Chile in particular.

Chile is expected to increase production by 8.7%

According to the latest data from the International Nut and Dried Fruit Council, which was published during the INC Congress in Palma, global production of dried cranberries is expected to total 205,200 mt in the 2025/2026 season, which would be an increase of 1.3% compared to the previous season. Together with the carry-over stocks from the 2024/2025 season, 217,708 mt would therefore be available in the coming season.

So far, the estimates are still unspectacular. Both the USA and Canada are expected to achieve similar results to last year with 143,900 mt and 49,700 mt respectively. The forecasts for the Chilean crop are different, with an increase of 8.7% to 11,600 mt.

On the European spot market, dried cranberries, cut with Canadian origin were recently offered at a level of EUR 3.90/kg FCA Poland, while whole dried cranberries were traded at EUR 3.95/kg FCA Poland.
