AYDIN. Due to the late start to the export season, exporters have less time to process shipments for the Christmas business. Weekly exports have increased slightly.

Trading activity picks up

The already late start to the export season was followed by a few extremely quiet weeks in the Turkish dried fig market. During this time, exporters waited to see what results the first export shipments would achieve upon arrival in the EU before purchasing larger quantities.
