It remains sunny and warm in the Turkish province of Aydin, with daytime temperatures estimated at 21-29°C in the coming days. Localised rain showers are also expected from the second half of the week. Nevertheless, it is still far too dry in the fig-growing regions and farmers and exporters are concerned about the impact on the yield and quality of the coming crop.

The Turkish dried fig market remains calm, although elevated aflatoxin levels remain a major issue. The goods are already being extensively analysed domesti
