The number of rejected dried fig shipments is a cause for concern for Turkish dried fig exporters. Although the number of batches rejected at the European border due to elevated aflatoxin and ochratoxin levels is significantly lower than last year, it is currently unprofitable for exporters to submit offers for shipments to Europe.
