Farmers want higher prices

Turkish fig farmers are only parting with their dried fruit in small batches and are speculating that prices will continue to rise. Meanwhile, many exporters are overwhelmed by the situation; traders are unsure at what prices they can offer and the price range is immense. Buyers are also cautious and are monitoring developments; most buyers are currently only buying what they need immediately.
