Price chaos intensifies

Thanks to careful planning and targeted investments, some Turkish dried fig exporters were able to build up stocks at the beginning of the season. Now that the market has plunged into price chaos, this enables them to make their regular customers comparatively good offers, in contrast to those suppliers who have to base their calculations on daily commodity prices. However, this means that there are now many different prices for the same goods on the market.
