Hardly any raw materials left

There is a lot of turmoil on the Turkish dried fig market at the moment. Market players report that farmgate prices continue to rise for the simple reason that there are hardly any raw materials left. It is already said that after New Year it will be difficult to find products suitable for export. As traders have noticed that exporters are also buying at higher prices, there will be no price cuts for the time being. Dried figs, Lerida, no 2 currently cost USD 6,725/mt FOB Izmir, USD 225/mt more than last week.
