AYDIN. Reports state that dried fruit deliveries are still increasingly being checked for ochratoxin A (OTA). A limit of 10 µg/kg for shipments to the EU could cause tremendous difficulties for Turkey.

The price of Turkish dried figs fell again slightly this week, with the raw fruit price range currently being listed at 16-18 TRY/kg.
