BRUSSELS. Developments in the Middle East are still impacting grains and oilseeds. The EU-Australia free trade agreement has potential for wheat. Corn has gained quite a bit of support. US soybeans are too unattractive for China. EU rapeseed imports have slumped.

News on the Middle East conflict is that US President Donald Trump has extended the deadline for a possible strike on Iranian energy infrastructure to 6 April. While the Trump administration is doing its best to reassure the market, scepticism is growing that the war will end soon as Trading Economics and other news sites report.
