BRUSSELS. Restrictions in the Black Sea port are impacting wheat exports. For corn, the outlook is rather devasting in the US. China has turned to the US for soybeans. Global impulses are boosting rapeseed.

Restrictions in Black Sea impact wheat

As the situation is escalating in the Black Sea the global wheat market is forced to react. Due to current restrictions at Black Sea ports, Russia’s railway operator Rusagrotrans expects wheat exports to only reach 1.8 million mt in August, down from the previously estimated 3-3.5 million mt and the lowest figure since August 2010.
