BRUSSELS. In Europe, the weather has been largely decisive for wheat, corn and rapeseed. In the USA, the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Trump’s tariffs and the president’s reaction has caused quite a bit of confusion for soybeans.

Weather and politics decisive for wheat

After witnessing gains at the start of the week wheat quotations have fallen again. Mild and drier weather conditions in Germany and France have alleviated concerns over possible damages. SovEcon has cut the forecast for Russia’s wheat exports in 2025/2026 by 300,000 mt to 45.4 million mt and lifted projections for the new season by 2.1 million mt to 41.7 mil
