Hazelnuts: Possible bankruptcies deter sellers

ORDU. Financial difficulties and exchange rate fluctuations are currently setting the pace in the hazelnut market in Turkey. Towards the end of last week, the Turkish Lira lost in value as compared with the Euro.

 

Caution is required

Apart from this, the market is relatively quiet. After it became known that big cracker is facing financial difficulties, the sellers are now acting cautiously. Since the purchasers are not too keen on buying either the situation in the raw nut market is quite relaxed.

Decline in export prices
