Hazelnuts: Ferrero adapts to market situation

ORDU. With the season progressing and exports remaining stable, Ferrero is now being forced to adapt to the market prices in order to cover open positions before the arrival of the new crop.

Ferrero pays 31 TRY/kg

Ferrero has now reluctantly raised its bid prices for hazelnuts. The market giant is currently offering ca. 31 TRY/kg for natural kernels 11-13 mm. Traders report that Ferrero has not only become active again in Turkey. The company is also said to have increased its bid prices by 0.50 EUR/kg in Italy. This is an indication that Ferrero is not expecting prices to decline any time soon and intends to stock up as far as possible before the arrival of the new crop.
