PEKING/MOSCOW. The decline in global production is driving the prices in the producing countries further up. Supplies are very much limited in China.

Limited supplies in China

Many traders in China are currently no longer able to offer any pine nuts. Problem is that market supplies have dwindled. Market players, in addition, report that the prospects for the new crop are not exactly encouraging. There still is a restricted number of offers for pine nuts 650 count available in China. Traders are, however, charging prices of around 34,700 USD/mt CFR China.
