BEIJING. The scarce supply of raw materials is causing further price corrections in the Chinese pine nut market - if there are any offers at all.

700 USD/mt within one week

For Chinese pine nut exporters, the procurement of raw materials continues to be rather difficult and especially costly. Some exporters are still looking for goods to cover sales made in September and October. For the time being, they are not accepting new enquiries. Other suppliers are still willing to make offers, but at USD 17,300/mt CFR Hamburg for Pinus sibirica, 950 pcs/100g, these are around USD 700/mt above last week's price.
