ATLANTA. The US crop was smaller than expected due to difficult weather conditions. Since other growing countries also have only a small amount of peanuts left in their warehouses, prices are rising noticeably.

Competition is fierce

The experts at peanutgrower.com report that the US peanut market continues to see relatively little activity due to the coronavirus pandemic. Most buyers are still well stocked and shelling factories are not in a hurry to get their goods to the market at the moment, hoping for rising prices.
