MANISA. After temperatures climbed as high as 20C frosty weather has now been forecast in Turkey. This may very well have an impact on sultana production.

Vines under stress

They most recently ranged at 4,084 mt, which is around 200 mt less than the volumes shipped overseas in the same period last year. Turkey has shipped a total of 110,020 mt of seedless dried raisins oversea
