Dried apricots: market shows little change

MALATYA. The lockdown in Turkey and as well as Ramadan are keeping the markets very quiet. There is also little movement in prices.

Small fruits remain scarce

There is little change in the apricot market compared to last week. Due to the curfew, which lasts until 17 May, and Ramadan, only limited trading activity is taking place, with market players nevertheless reporting a slight increase in demand. Both commodity and export prices are holding steady at last week's levels, with dried apricots, no 2 at USD 3.85/kg FOB Izmir. The problem remains that there is sufficient large fruit available, while the small varieties are almost sold out. Farmers are currently optimistic
