BEIJING. Shortly before the turn of the year, sellers on the Chinese pumpkin seed market are becoming active once again. According to market players, the economic situation is significantly worse than last year.

Price corrections at the end of the year

Demand is lower, and not only in the pumpkin seed market as other sectors are also feeling the effects. Many traders are lacking orders and although market prices for Chinese shine skins are still at CNY 18/kg, some suppliers have lowered their prices to CNY 17.8/kg in order to generate some sales at the end of the year and to keep business going.
