DALIAN. The price curve for Chinese pumpkin seeds is climbing steeply, but occasional bargains can be found.

Up to 200 USD/mt surcharge

Offers for Chinese pumpkin seeds vary across a wide range, depending on the supplier, and the price spread was shifted further upwards once more this week. Last year's level is now almost at hand, and it cannot be ruled out that the prices will rise to a higher level than last year at the beginning of the new season. However, a few suppliers are offering their supplies far below the market price to attract attention. Offers as low as 2.05 EUR/kg CFR Hamburg for Shine Skin, Grade A are available.

Due to the expected price increase, traders are currently receiving more and more requests, also for long-term delivery dates. Chinese suppliers are adapting to the situation. Buyers need to expect surcharges of 80-200 USD/mt.
