DALIAN. Due to the high infection rates in the Chinese growing areas, trade is still virtually impossible. So far, this has had no effect on export prices, but the situation is different for commodity prices.

The current situation

Most of the Chinese growing regions are still closed due to the high covid infection figures, so that raw material trade in China has almost come to a complete standstill. This applies to both shine skins and GWS kernels. Only a few areas are still able to supply goods, and here farmgate prices have risen due to the current shortage, especially for shine skins.
