NEW DELHI/N'DJAMENA. The sesame seed tender will be evaluated at the beginning of next week and Indian exporters are expecting good chances. Meanwhile, the harvest in Chad started a little earlier this year and has therefore already been completed.

Indian exporters at an advantage?

At the end of the year, Indian sesame seed prices showed a clear downward trend and, according to market players, would have continued in this direction if the new sesame seed tender from South Korea had not recently been published. A total of 6,000 mt of sesame seeds are to be purchased through the tender, and the bids will be evaluated at the beginning of next week. Indian exporters are confident and believe that this time they have an advantage over other growing countries.
