NEW DELHI. The Indian sesame seed market saw massive price increases, and yet traders believe that a tender participation should not be in vain.

Upward trend continues

Due to various factors, Indian sesame seeds have had a tough time in the international market recently, including pesticide limit violations and an overall rising price trend. The latest developments are not making it any easier for exporters to regain their footing. Compared to last week, prices for unhulled sesame seeds in the Indian market have risen by about 40 USD/mt, hulled sesame seeds even increased by USD 80-90/mt.
