Sesame seeds: no price increase despite tender win

NEW DELHI. The tender win did not bring the desired price increase to the Indian sesame seed market. In the coming weeks, exporters will stock up and the first small positions from the new crop are already available on the market.

Expectations have not been fulfilled

The last sesame seed tender ended with a sensational result for Indian exporters, who were able to divide the entire 12,000 mt among themselves. Over the next two months, traders will stock up on the necessary goods to be able to export the shipments to South Korea.
