Sultanas: buyer expectations have not been met

MANISA. The Turkish lira was devalued again. However, the price reductions hoped for by the buyers did not take place. Instead, corrections were made in the other direction in anticipation of rising commodity prices.

Exports remain at last year's level

Turkey exported 5,946 mt of sultanas and raisins last week; in the same week last year the export volume was at a similar level with 6,072 mt. Also in total, the export result since the beginning of the season is almost the same as last year; so far 62,642 mt have been exported in 2021/2022.
