MANISA. High prices are causing disagreements between growers and exporters. Current production estimates for Turkey predict a better result than last year.

The long-awaited rainfall in Turkey's sultana-growing regions has finally been forecast for this week. Daytime temperatures are still hovering around 20°C, but the Turkish weather service expects temperatures to drop after the rainfall.
