MANISA. Market players estimate that around a quarter of the current sultana production is still in the hands of growers. Demand is sluggish and exporters are taking action.

Prices at their lowest in two years

In Manisa, temperatures will remain mild at 12-17°C this week. It will continue to be rainy, which will benefit the growing regions.

According to data from the commodity exchanges in the Aegean region, sales of 149,773 mt of sultanas and raisins have been recorded so far.
