Sultanas: growers expect high TMO price level

MANISA. The TMO recently announced the selling prices for commodity supplies of Turkish sultanas from the old crop, which are valid until the end of July. However, the organisation has not offered any bid prices for the coming season yet.

TMO remains silent

According to market players, the TMO still has high raw material supplies, which is probably also the reason why no bid price for the new crop has been announced so far. However, the selling prices of the state organisation are comparatively high; for sultanas, type 9, the offers are TRY 12.90/kg, type 7 and type 8 are available at prices of TRY 12.30/kg and TRY 12.60/kg, respectively.
