MANISA. Scepticism prevails as to in how far production will meet expectations for sultanas in 2024/2025. Tariş will announce a purchasing price on 1 August.

Holidays slow down trade

Due to Eid al-Adha, the Islamic Feast of the Sacrifice, no market activities are being reported as many people are spending the week with their families and relatives or have travelled to the sea. Prices are firm at TRY 120-125/kg for type 9 sultanas. The following export prices are for reference only as hardly any unsold inventories remain in the market.
